Customer Goal: Increase living space with any possible changes of topography to allow for moving and enclosure of hot tub, and increase privacy.
Project Scope: This project presented some unique obstacles of limited access, and an attempt to balance the necessity of making major topography changes while saving as many trees as possible. The construction process included demolition of existing concrete and chain link fencing, tree removal, installation of stack stonewalls, patio, deck and fence construction. In order to move the hot tub above the wall and with no crane access, a large steel cart was engineered and fabricated with special tires to allow the relocation with only the help of a small front-end loader.
Irrigation, drainage basins, piping, plantings and landscape lighting were also added to complete the desired effect
